ECOSOC Humanitarian Affairs Segment 2005

The theme of the 2005 humanitarian affairs segment is “ Strengthening of the coordination of United Nations humanitarian assistance, including capacity and organizational aspects” . The humanitarian affairs segment will take place from 13 to 18 July 2005 . The segment will include a panel on “Lessons learned from the recent earthquake/tsunami Indian Ocean disaster”.
