PROPOSAL ON DRAFT ARTICLE 17

EDUCATION:

-Add to article 17 c the phrase in bold so it would read as follows:

Allow a free and informed choice between general and special systems; and any other type of education that suits the disability needs.

PROPOSAL ON DRAFT ARTICLE 20

PERSONAL MOBILITY:

- Add to article 20 g the phrase in bold so it would read as follows:

Promoting awareness about mobility issues for persons with disabilities, and strive for their protection, as appropriate, through legislations that prevent individuals from hindering and not observing or respecting, by any means, the mobility of persons with disabilities.

PROPOSAL ON DRAFT ARTICLE 21

RIGHT TO HEALTH AND REHABILITATION:

- Add to article 21 a the phrase in bold so it would read as follows,:

Provide persons with disabilities with the same range and standard of health and rehabilitation services as provided to other citizens, including sexual and reproductive including all aspects of health services and when possible, shall provide treatment to curable disabilities cases in their all different stages failed by persons with disabilities due to poverty.

PROPOSAL ON DRAFT ARTICLE 22

RIGHT TO WORK:

- Add to article 22 a the phrase in bold so it would read as follows:

Promote a labour market and work environment that are open, inclusive and accessible to all persons with disabilities, in particular to women with disabilities.

PROPOSAL ON DRAFT ARTICLE 23

OCIAL SECURITY AND ADEQUATE STANDARD OF LIVING:

-Add to article 23 f the phrase in bold so it would read as follows:

Ensure that persons with disabilities are able to access life and health insurance, where applicable, without discrimination on the basis of disability.

- Add to article 23-2 the phrase in bold so it would read as follows:

States parties recognize the right of all persons with disabilities to an adequate standard of living for themselves and their families, including and not confined to, adequate food, clothing, housing and access to clean water, and to the cntinuous improvement of living conditions, and will undertake appropriate steps to safeguard and promote the realization of this right.

PROPOSAL ON DRAFT ARTICLE 24

PARTICIPATION IN CULTURAL LIFE, RECREATION, LEISURE AND SPORT:

- Add to article 24-1 c the phrase in bold so it would read as follows:

Enjoy access to television programs, films, theatre and other cultural activities, in all accessible formats, including captioning and sign language and any type of assistive intermediary that can help the blind to follow such activities.
