The present resource provides information on the status of the work of the
Ad Hoc Committee on each draft article of the proposed convention on the
rights of persons with disabilities. The resource includes the Text proposed
by the Chair as a basis for negotiation at the seventh session as well
as Background Documents. Background Documents include revisions and amendments
based on the draft text presented by the Working Group at the Committee’s
Third Session. Revisions and amendments are organized by session and
presented in reverse chronological order.
