DUE DILIGENCE
The Ethics Office responds to requests for advice from requesting offices regarding engagement with private sector entities, such as implementing partners. This process includes identification of institutional risks and potential conflicts of interest, provision of advice and recommendations to offices on risk management, and referrals to other offices where necessary. The Ethics Office promotes adherence to policies and procedures related to ethics standards, aiming at ensuring that any activity of the United Nations is consistent with its core values and adheres to highest standards of ethical conduct; there is no involvement in any form of corrupt or fraudulent practices; and that partnerships serve the best interests and do not negatively impact the reputation, integrity and credibility of the Organization.
