Participation of civil society organizations
General Assembly resolution 67/219 invited the President of the General Assembly to draw up a list of representatives of non-governmental organizations in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council who may participate in the High-level Dialogue (paragraph 9), as well as a list of representatives of other non-governmental organizations, academic institutions and the private sector who may participate in the high-level meeting (paragraph 12). Registration closed on 22 May 2013.
In accordance with the above resolution, the list of non-governmental organizations not in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council was submitted to Member States for consideration on a no objection basis.
