About Orchid Project: Orchid Project has a vision of a world free from female genital cutting. We work to shape the dialogue around female genital cutting and advocate for prioritisation of the issue; communicate the scale of it and how it is ending; and support the efforts of organisations working towards abandonment in practising countries.

About female genital cutting: female genital cutting is the partial or total removal of a girl’s external genitals. Women who are cut may experience health complications, such as cysts, infections and pain menstruating.
