Summary

The SDGs’ transformative agenda can only be achieved if women, children and adolescents are at its centre, helping drive the comprehensive change envisaged. The Global Financing Facility in support of Every Woman Every Child – a partnerships-based financing mechanism and potential pathfinder for post-2015 financing – will be officially launched by the UN Secretary-General, the World Bank President, Canada, Norway, the US together with Heads of State and global leaders, alongside the showcasing of innovative and transformative financing approaches that will contribute to delivering results for the UN SG’s updated Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescent Health and the SDGs.
