Visas on Arrival

For participants coming from countries without an Ethiopian Embassy or Consulate, the Government of Ethiopia will issue a Visa on Arrival upon presentation of a letter of invitation or accreditation to attend the Conference as well as a copy of the attached Note Verbale to the authorities at Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa.

Participants wishing to receive a Visa on Arrival should also send their names, nationalities and passport numbers at least 72 hours in advance of their arrival to the focal point listed below to expedite the process.

Required documents:

  • Letter of invitation or accreditation to the Conference
  • Copy of the Note Verbale regarding Visas on Arrival
