Commission on the Status of Women acting as the Preparatory Committee (PrepCom) Meetings:

The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), acting as the Preparatory Committee (PrepCom) for the Special Session of the General Assembly has met twice to prepare for the Special Session, during the 42nd session of the CSW in March 1998 and during the 43rd session of the CSW in March 1999.  The third PrepCom Session was held 3-17 March 2000. 

Informal Consultations of the PrepCom Bureau:
The Bureau of the Preparatory Committee  have convened a series of informal open-ended consultations to consider preparations for special session.
