global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration

Second informal thematic session on facilitating safe, orderly and regular migration organized by the President of the General Assembly and co-chaired by the co-facilitators to lead the intergovernmental consultations and negotiations on issues related to the global compact, held in accordance with General Assembly resolution 71/280 of 6 April 2017. The second informal thematic session will be addressing drivers of migration, including adverse effects of climate change, natural disasters and human-made crises, through protection and assistance, sustainable development, poverty eradication, conflict prevention and resolution.

Fourth informal thematic session on facilitating safe, orderly and regular migration organized by the President of the General Assembly and co-chaired by the co-facilitators to lead the intergovernmental consultations and negotiations on issues related to the global compact, held in accordance with General Assembly resolution 71/280 of 6 April 2017.
