Media Accreditation and Liaison Unit
Media Accreditation to the 2025 UN Ocean Conference and the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development will open on 1 March 2025. See the requirements and apply online at https://indico.un.org/UNHQ/#media
The Media Accreditation and Liaison Unit (MALU) provides logistical support and information to members of the press:
- ACCREDITATION
A requirement for all journalists who wish to cover activities at the United Nations in New York (First time or Renewing)
- LIAISON/COVERAGE
MALU liaises with members of the press and Member States and provides escorts to events at UNHQ. Permanent/Observer Missions can request temporary media passes through the e-Registration system on the e-deleGATE portal (instructions).

List of open inter-governmental meetings, press briefings/conferences and other outreach activities at UNHQ (subscribe).
