About the event

In accordance with ECOSOC resolutions 2015/33 and 2021/6, the UN Forum on Forests will conduct a midterm review of the effectiveness of the International Arrangement on Forests (IAF) in 2024. In preparation for this midterm review, a set of assessments is being carried out on progress made in ten areas, as identified by the Forum at its 17th session in May 2022. The objective of the Organization-led Initiative (OLI) of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF) is to provide an opportunity for experts from Members of the Forum, CPF and its members, regional and subregional partners, and major groups to review and discuss the assessment on progress made related to the CPF and provide input.
