Webinar on Reporting to UNFF

Voluntary national reports to the United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF) are essential for assessing progress in the implementation of the UN Strategic Plan for Forests 2017–2030 and achievement of the Global Forest Goals (GFGs). In line with the timeline endorsed by ECOSOC resolution 2024/15, the UNFF Secretariat is hosting a capacity-building webinar to assist national experts with final preparations of their national reports, due by 30 June 2025.

This virtual session responds to requests made during UNFF20 and builds upon the in-person workshop held in Nairobi in March 2025. It is tailored for national experts actively engaged in the reporting process—especially those who were unable to attend the Nairobi workshop.

• Provide additional guidance on reporting progress toward the UNSPF and GFGs
• Offer technical support on using the online reporting platform
