About the event

The objective of the expert group meeting, which is being held in a hybrid format, is to provide an opportunity for experts to review and discuss the assessment reports on Sections D on the Global Forest Financing Facilitation Network, F on implementation of the UN Strategic Plan for Forests 2017-2030, and paragraph 24 of ECOSOC resolution 2022/17. In addition to section F, paragraph 24 of ECOSOC resolution 2022/17 pertains to development of a road map and timeline for the next national reporting cycle to the UN Forum on Forests.
