About the event

The workshop will focus on identifying possible sources for data collection, and methodologies for monitoring and reporting on the Global Forest Goals and their targets. During the workshop, the results of the pilot phase for the use of the amended national reporting format will be also shared, including lessons-learned and feedback. Participants will have an opportunity to share their knowledge and national experiences on access to and availability of forest data. Furthermore, lessons-learned on selected Global Core Set of forest related indicators (GCS) will be shared. The workshop will also provide an occasion for participants to share additional feedback on the amended reporting format, as well as suggestions to advance the work on selected indictors of the GCS for reporting on progress towards the Global Forest Goals.
