About the event

Members of The North American Forest Commission (NAFC) will meet in Campeche, Mexico, to present their country reports, review the Activities of the Working Group and to discuss FAO Items such as Global and Regional Forest Resources Assessments (FRA).

The NAFC is one of six Regional Forestry Commissions established by FAO to provide a policy and technical forum for countries to discuss and address forest issues on a regional basis. It meets every two years. NAFC also supports research and sustainable natural resource management activities through working groups.

NAFC session will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation to Spanish provided by Mexico. Session report will be written in English to expedite its formulation, review and eventual adoption by Commissioners.
