Again encourages States to prepare on a voluntary basis national implementation action plans, with the assistance of the 1540 Committee and its expertise as appropriate, mapping out their priorities and plans for implementing the key provisions of resolution 1540 (2004), and to submit these plans to the 1540 Committee;

The Committee continues to support Member States, upon request, in their development of voluntary national implementation action plans. To date, 47 national implementation action plans have been submitted by 38 Member States, of which 25 were submitted since 2016. Some of these included updates or revisions to action plans previously submitted to the Committee.
