International Annual UN-Water Zaragoza Conference 2012/2013
Preparing for the 2013 International Year. Water Cooperation: Making it Happen! 8-10 January 2013
Participants
The conference convened United Nations experts and representatives from case studies, including media as well as UN-Water partner organizations and key experts from four continents.
UN agencies represented included UN-Water members and partners including UN-Habitat and its Global Water Operators' Partnership Alliance (GWOPA), the International Hydrological Programme of UNESCO (IHP), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Global Compact CEO Water Mandate, the World Bank, and the UN-Water Decade Programme on Advocacy and Communication (UNW-DPAC). UN-Water partner organisations represented included the Global Water Partnership (GWP), the International Water and Sanitation Centre (IRC) and the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID).
