We will meet at the Etopia building and we will walk to Expo (700 m. + 700 m. return) and take a touristic train (45 min.) to see Expo, Bridge Pavilion and Water Park.
Zaragoza held the Expo 2008 “Water and sustainable development”. More than 100 countries joined the exhibition and was visited by more than 6 million people. The visit (with a small tourist train) will include
a) The buildings of the EXPO
b) The Bridge Pavilion was one of the most emblematic buildings of Expo 2008. Designed by Zaha Hadid (Pritzker architecture prize) it was built in two levels with the shape of a gladiolus opening and closing.
c) Parque del Agua (Water Park). The combination of water and design create natural, peaceful and beautiful settings where you can see the environmental diversity and learn about the water system in the park.
